The Charge of The Light Brigade is a poem written by Alfred Lord Tennyson. Tennyson is one the most well-loved victorian poes many of his poems are standards of 19th-century literature. His famous Poems include

The Charge of The Light Brigade describes the bravery and patriotism of the British Soldiers in the Crimean war that was fought between The English and The Russians. The Russian captured some guns of the English army. The Light Brigade of the English army was ordered to recapture the guns. The soldiers showed bravery and got the victory. In this poem, the poet pays tribute to the heroism of the English army.
The Light Brigade consisting of foo soldiers rode on horseback into the "Valley of death" for half a league. They were ordered to attack the guns of the enemy. The soldiers obeyed the order though they knew that death was waiting for them. They had no fear. It was a terrible mistake for their master but they could not ask him any question him. It was not their job.
There were enemy cannons to their left, to their right and in front of them. The Light Brigade was attacked with shots and shells from three sides. Thus they rode boldly into the jaws of death and went into the mouth of cannons.
The Six hundred soldiers pounced upon the Russian gunners and broke through their line. The English army was attacking with swords. The world was looking on in wonder. They were destroying the Russian enemies. They came back victorious but they had lost many men so they were not six hundred any more.
In short, the glory of The Light Brigade is undying. The world wondered at the bravery of the soldiers. The poem states that these noble six hundred men deserved honor and tribute even today.
